Gravity Feed Smokers

What is a gravity feed smoker? A gravity feed smoker is a great alternative to a pellet grill because you get to cook with real wood chunks and coals so you get a better flavor than cooking with a pellet grill while experiencing similar conveniences. A gravity feed smoker has a tall hopper for loading lump coal. You light the coals at the bottom so it slowly burns over several hours. Our base model (1/4" thick 3 shelf ) burns for 6 hours at 300 degrees with 15 pounds of lump coal. Our insulated model with 3 shelves can burn for for 9-10 hours at 300 degrees with 20 pounds of lump coal in the hopper. We use temperature management electronics to bring the cook chamber up to temp and hold temperature. Our back flow damper prevents overshoot. So you don't have to add fuel during the cook. You can put wood chunks in the ash bucket to add smoke during the cook. Comes with an easy set programmable PID controller system. You can use your own blue tooth monitoring system to send the data to your cell phone while our system runs the fan when needed.
