Steel Wheels Option

Buy with Steel Wheels if you don't plan on ever moving the pit much. Yo will save money on the purchase. They do roll well and shouldn't ever give you any mechanical problems but may chip or scrape concrete when rolling on and off or moving over a hump into the garage.

Coal Baskets with Slide Out Ash Pan

Included on models with square firebox. Not standard on round fireboxes or basic models. A coal basket keeps the burning coals together to drive the pit better and keep consistent temps for an easier cook. The slide out pan makes it easy to remove the ashes.

Fold Down Shelf

Consider a fold down shelf to get your pit through tighter spaces.

Traditional Flow or Reverse FLow

We stock as reverse flow because reverse flow has been far more popular over the years. It can be easier to use for beginners because the temp doesn't fluctuate so much. But we build traditional flow on request for orders and we can build with a standard narrow manifold so you have more shelf room or a wide manifold. Ask Matt about the difference.

CNC Cut Meat Racks

CNC cut plate meat racks are thicker than normal expanded metal type so they keep the heat in a lot better when opening the lid. They also work similar to a griddle as they hold more juices at the meat. They will last longer too but come with a price as they are more expensive to build. They also add weight to the pit. Consider cnc cut plate meat racks for your order.
